Need Your Results First?
Each person can take the free official quiz (there are versions for adults, teens and children). Write down their five scores, then come back here.
Take The Official QuizNo time? You can still use Rate Manually in Step 1 and give your best guess.
Step 1 of 4
Add Your Family
Adding everyone lets the map show where your family connects and where someone needs something different. Include yourself and anyone else who cares for the children.
You're looking at the Lim family, an example to show how a finished map looks.
Tips For Entering Results
- Quiz Scores: type the five numbers exactly as the quiz gave them. Percentages or points both work, as the map only looks at how they compare.
- Rate Manually: no quiz? Tap 1 to 5 hearts for how much each one lights that person up.
- Children under seven need all five love languages. Use Rate Manually for what you notice they respond to most.
Step 2 of 4
Your Family Map
Seeing everyone side by side helps you spot what your family has in common and who feels loved in a different way, so nobody gets missed.
Step 3 of 4
What Your Map Means
These takeaways turn the map into plain language, starting with what can make the biggest difference to your family's week.

Your One-to-One Plan
We tend to show love the way we like to receive it. This plan shows what each person needs from you, and flags the ones that won't come naturally, so you can plan them in.
A Gentle Reminder
A low score doesn't mean someone doesn't need that kind of love. Everyone needs all five, and young children especially so. Scores just show what fills each person's cup fastest.
Treat this as a conversation starter, not a verdict. Show each person their results and ask, "Does this sound like you?" Children grow and change, so try it again next year.
